It may be a trace gas, but you can't do the analysis simply by saying


the numbers seem small to you. There is no meaning there.

CO2, along with Nitrous Oxide and Methane, are what is responsible for trapping the heat. Sure there is not a lot of them in terms of PPM, but that doesn't matter. So yes, a 25% increase in any one of these gasses can, despite the fact that the proportion appear small, matter

It doesn't take a lot of cyanide to make that glass of water poisonous.
